The Lime

It was probably a bad choice to head down to the peak limestone today. Was hot! Still, me and Jordan headed down and started off at Rubicon. The usual warm ups. Worked our way up, ticking the classics. Bigger Splash, 7a+, Kudos 7a+ and others. Then i did The Press, 7b+. Can not remember if i'd done it before. I always used to have trouble on the last move to jug. Today it felt easy though. Jordan did Tsunami in a few goes. Terrible conditions. Smitton came down and said Crag X was ok, so we headed over there. We messed around a lot and achieved not very much. Onwards to the tor to see if powerband was dry. Moist pockets on most of the moves, and no sign of any sticky damp. Anyway, we put a rope on and tried Boot Boys. A gnarly 8a+. Not sure if it was the warm temps but it felt hard. Maybe one for the winter!

Anyway, here are some pics of me doing the press and Jordan doing Tsunami.

I'll also have my write up of last weeks trip to Rodellar up in a few days, so stay tuned! Should include a cool pic of Ste Mac bat hanging!
